Description

Deliciously roasted air fryer carrots with a touch of honey and thyme.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound carrots (about 56 medium carrots)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • to taste salt & pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ tablespoon runny honey

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes. In the meantime, trim and peel carrots and cut into spears (I cut them in half and then slice each halve into 4 spears).
  2. Season carrots: Place carrots in a large bowl and toss with oil, dried thyme, salt and pepper.
  3. Add to air fryer: Place carrots into hot air fryer basket in an even layer.
  4. Cook: Air fry at 375°F (195°C) for 12-15 minutes, checking from time to time, until tender.
  5. Finish: Immediately transfer carrots to a serving bowl and gently toss with butter and honey. Serve hot.

  • Adjust seasoning according to your preference.
  • Can substitute butter with a dairy-free alternative for a vegan option.
