A delicious and quick stir-fry featuring beef and lo mein noodles.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces lo mein noodles
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 1 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)
Instructions
- Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, cooking for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Toss in sliced carrots and bell peppers, sautéing until slightly tender.
- Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and brown sugar (plus cornstarch slurry if using).
- Add cooked noodles and sauce to skillet, tossing until everything is coated and heated through.
- Top with chopped green onions and a drizzle of sesame oil before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
- Adjust the amount of soy sauce according to taste.
