This Orange Garlic Chicken recipe features tender chicken breasts glazed with a sweet and tangy orange sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and place them in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, minced garlic, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
- Pour half of the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the oven and pour remaining sauce into a saucepan on medium heat to simmer until thickened (about 5 minutes).
- Slice the baked chicken and drizzle with thickened sauce. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving over rice or noodles.
