Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Brown the Butter: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt unsalted butter while stirring until it turns golden brown (about 5 minutes). Let cool slightly.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add Pecans: Gently fold in toasted pecans.
  4. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine heavy cream and vanilla extract with browned butter.
  5. Combine Mixtures: Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined.
  6. Shape and Bake: Turn out dough onto a floured surface, pat into a circle about 1 inch thick, cut into wedges or rounds. Bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes until golden.
