Description

Delicious jumbo pasta shells stuffed with a savory ground beef mixture and topped with cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the jumbo pasta shells in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and half of the salsa to the beef. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir in cream cheese until melted and fully combined. Remove from heat.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fill each pasta shell with the beef mixture and arrange in a baking dish.
  7. Top with remaining salsa and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the shells.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  10. Garnish with green onions and cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overcook the pasta shells to prevent breaking.
  • This dish can be prepared ahead of time and baked when ready to serve.
