Description

Delicious chocolate truffles made with rich dark chocolate and a hint of orange.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 90 ml heavy cream
  • 200 g dark cooking chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated orange peel
  • 1/3 cup chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until hot but not boiling.
  2. Add chopped chocolate to the cream and whisk until smooth.
  3. Stir in orange peel until fully combined.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours until firm.
  5. Scoop out small portions and roll into balls.
  6. Roll each truffle in chocolate sprinkles to coat.
  7. Chill again for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store truffles in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • For a flavor twist, try adding a few drops of orange liqueur.
