Description
A rich and creamy mocha made with freshly brewed espresso and cocoa powder.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 shots (60ml) freshly brewed espresso
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup (240ml) whole milk (or non-dairy alternative)
- 1–2 tsp sugar (to taste)
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Brew two shots of espresso using your preferred method.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine cocoa powder and sugar; adjust sweetness based on preference.
- Add about 2 tablespoons of hot water to the cocoa mixture and stir until smooth.
- Pour the brewed espresso into the saucepan with the cocoa mixture and stir well.
- Heat the milk in another pot or microwave until steaming but not boiling.
- Pour the hot milk into the mocha mixture while stirring gently. Top with whipped cream and cocoa powder if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness of the mocha by varying the amount of sugar.
- You can use any type of milk, including non-dairy alternatives, for this recipe.
