Description

A rich and creamy mocha made with freshly brewed espresso and cocoa powder.


Ingredients

  • 2 shots (60ml) freshly brewed espresso
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup (240ml) whole milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • 12 tsp sugar (to taste)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew two shots of espresso using your preferred method.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine cocoa powder and sugar; adjust sweetness based on preference.
  3. Add about 2 tablespoons of hot water to the cocoa mixture and stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the brewed espresso into the saucepan with the cocoa mixture and stir well.
  5. Heat the milk in another pot or microwave until steaming but not boiling.
  6. Pour the hot milk into the mocha mixture while stirring gently. Top with whipped cream and cocoa powder if desired.
