A quick and delicious Pesto Pasta recipe that combines pasta with homemade or store-bought pesto.

- 12 oz Pasta of your choice (such as penne, spaghetti, or fettuccine)
- 1 cup Pesto sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated (plus extra for serving)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add in your pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.
- If using store-bought pesto, pour it into a bowl. For homemade pesto, blend fresh basil, garlic, pine nuts, and Parmesan cheese in a food processor, then add olive oil while blending until smooth.
- Drain your pasta and return it to the pot. Add in the pesto sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss until the pasta is evenly coated.
- Plate your Pesto Pasta and sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese. Optionally, add a dash of pepper.

- This recipe is versatile; you can use any pasta shape you prefer.
- For a creamier texture, consider adding a splash of heavy cream to the pesto sauce.
