Description
Delicious and easy honey sriracha chicken made in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 1 cup honey
- 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
- 3 tbsp light brown sugar
- 3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast (4 large)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 cup butter, cut in slices
Instructions
- In a 6-quart slow cooker, add the honey, sriracha sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well with a fork.
- Add chicken breasts and poke a few times.
- Sprinkle with salt, paprika, garlic powder, pepper, and chili powder.
- Add the butter slices over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours. Check the internal temperature after 4 hours, the chicken should be at least 165°F to be considered done.
- Take the chicken breasts out of the slow cooker and place in a large bowl.
- Use 2 forks to shred the chicken.
- Add back to the slow cooker and mix well into the sauce to fully coat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 15-20 minutes and serve.
Notes
- Ensure the chicken is cooked to safe internal temperatures.
- Serve with rice or salad for a complete meal.
