Description

Delicious chicken thighs cooked with garlic, asparagus, and lemon for a flavorful meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs (bone-in and skin-on)
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus
  • 3 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon (juice or zest)
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Place chicken skin-side down and cook for 6–7 minutes.
  4. Turn chicken and cook another 6–7 minutes.
  5. Remove chicken briefly from the skillet.
  6. Add sliced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  7. Add asparagus and cook for 3–4 minutes.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet.
  9. Add lemon juice or zest and simmer briefly.
  10. Cook until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internal temperature.
  11. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
