Description
This easy strawberry cake is made with strawberry pie filling and a cake mix for a delicious dessert.

- 2 cups strawberry pie filling
- 13 oz white cake mix (can also use yellow cake mix)
- ¾ cup cold salted butter (sliced into thin squares)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 10 x 7 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
- Pour the strawberry pie filling into the base of the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the vanilla cake mix evenly over the strawberry pie filling. Top with the sliced butter arranged in a single layer.
- Bake the cake for 40-45 minutes, or until lightly golden and the strawberry filling is bubbling.
- Allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, make sure the butter is cold and sliced thinly.
- This cake can be served warm or at room temperature.
